What is suede leather?

Suede is a product of splitting leather (cutting the top grain away from the inner layer to turn one thick piece into two thinner pieces). The outer layer can be many different kinds of leather while the inner, fuzzier layer is suede. The term suede comes from the French “gants de Suède”, which literally means “gloves from Sweden”. 

Leather is a natural material and as such, it may have its own unique markings. These are known as range marks and can include brands, cuts, scrapes, and bug bites among many others. These marks enhance the uniqueness of any leather item, making it truly one of a kind.

Please note: Due to the handmade nature of these products, they may have small cosmetic imperfections that should in no way affect the integrity of the item.

Items usually ship within 1-3 days from date of order and will ship USPS Priority mail unless otherwise unavailable or requested. Expedited shipping options may be chosen at checkout. Ship time may vary and there may be intermittent delays due to the current pandemic. 

If you need to return an item for any reason, please use a tracked service as I am not able to provide a refund unless items are returned in good condition. It is the buyer’s responsibility to file a claim with their shipping company for any returned items that are lost or damaged in transit. Custom made items cannot be returned.
